Murakaza neza!

My name is Gratiana Fu /ɡrɑ-ʃi-ɑ-nɑ fu:/. Born in New York but raised in Michigan, I've spent the past six years in Ann Arbor, attending one of the best universities in the world - the University of Michigan. I recently graduated with a Master's degree in Health Informatics after having spent my graduate school career at the intersection of global health and human resources for health.

In July, I moved to Kigali, Rwanda as a Global Health Corps Fellow with Team Heart Rwanda as their Health Informatics Officer. My main project here has been coordinating and managing the organization's mHealth project to improve the quality of health for post-operative rheumatic heart disease patients. I am also collaborating with the Rwandan Ministry of Health and Rwanda Biomedical Center to implement a REDCap-based national rheumatic heart disease registry.

When I'm not at work, I spend my time scrolling through food blogs, cooking, baking sourdough bread, and running to make myself feel better about the fact that most of my hobbies revolve around food. Let's be hones
